history

Vancouver Breast Centre was established in 1960 in the Fairmont Medical Building in Suite 505. It was founded by Drs. G.E. Trueman, E.G. Donovan, E.G. Garrow, and F.A. Olacke.

Our Team

Headed by Dr. Linda Warren, all of our radiologists hold fellowships in the Royal College of Physician and Surgeon of Canada and are subspecialists in Breast Imaging. In addition to our radiologists, our team is comprised of technologists and sonographers specializing in breast imaging as well as experienced clinical staff.

Teaching Facility

Since 1975, our center has been the community teaching facility for post graduate breast imaging for residents, fellows and medical students all of whom receive on-site training.

Our technology affords direct communication with other community facilities and institutions. This helps to avoid unnecessary duplication of examinations and unnecessary additional studies, and as well, improves timeliness and accuracy of reports.
